Allan’s Story

K. Allan Gregory
Allan grew up in Graham, NC before moving to Charlotte to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He graduated from there with his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.  He later received his Masters in Business from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. While in Ohio he met his wife Kathy. Allan worked in the telecommunications industry before starting his career as an Investment Advisor Representative and a Certified Financial Planners®. Allan and Kathy have two amazing children, Maverick and Colton and have lived in Lake Wylie, SC for over 20 years.  

Career
Allan started his Advisor career in 2006 with Edward Jones.
He founded K.A. Gregory Wealth Management, LLC in 2011 after realizing the importance of Independence to provide customized service to clients.
He received his Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2015. Only around 14% of advisors are Certified Financial Planners®.
He has his Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. Only about 3% of advisors hold this designation.

Allan
Hobbies: Biking, Camping, Traveling and involvement with his kids’ sports and future careers.
Interesting Fact: Allan and his family have been camping in over 33 states.
Community involvement: Allan is a founding member of the Lake Wylie Rotary Club since 2010 and has been on the board of directors of the Lake Wylie Chamber for over 13 years.
